The entire premise of the teabagging crew is that there is a "silent majority" of ultra-conservative Americans who sit out of the political process, and will become engaged by ultra-conservative candidates, ushering a new golden age of McCarthyism.
Everything they do depends on that premise. Because if that silent majority doesn't exist...
